Since the Travelguard is meant to be slept on as you would sleep on a sheet, it is not recommended for pets. There is concern that the pets’ nails could puncture the fabric, compromising the effectiveness of the barrier. Pets could also transfer bed bugs from the floor to the top surface completely by passing the Travelguard.
